In 2007, Julie graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications. Shortly after graduation, she discovered her passion for nursing and contributing to the well-being of others and enrolled at Bellarmine University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2012, she graduated from the University of Louisville with a master’s in nursing to achieve her career aspiration of becoming an adult nurse practitioner.

Since becoming a nurse practitioner, she has worked in the hospital setting caring for a variety of patient illness profiles.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys frequenting new local restaurants as well as cooking with and for others. With family nearby, she loves spending quality time with her parents and two siblings. During basketball and football season, you can find her donning Kentucky blue and cheering on her alma mater with pride.
