Dr. Kazi grew up in Greenville, SC. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, and his masters degree in education from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He joined Teach for America and was a middle school science teacher before pursuing medicine.  He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

Dr. Kazi received urologic surgical training in Lexington, KY at the University of Kentucky.

His surgical interests include BPH, kidney stone disease, urologic oncology, and general urologic care.

He is trained in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

When Dr. Kazi is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. His hobbies include being outdoors, home improvement, cars, and keeping up with the latest technology.
