Neal J. Prendergast, Ph.D., M.D.
Dr. Prendergast is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in 1983. He subsequently received his Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Medical College of Ohio in 1987. Dr. Prendergast graduated medical school at Case Western Reserve University in 1991 and received his general surgery and urologic surgical training at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Dr. Prendergast’s specialty interests include urologic cancers, stone disease and voiding dysfunction in both men and women. He has authored more than 30 articles in books, abstract and peer-reviewed journals.
In his spare time, Dr. Prendergast likes to fish, ride his bicycle, hike with his dog, and spend time with family.
Dr. Prendergast is board certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky.
