Dr. Jain is originally from India, where she received her bachelor of medicine and surgery degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Ajmer. She received her post-graduate degree in immunohematology and transfusion medicine from SMS Medical College in Jaipur, India.

Dr. Jain did her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the Westchester Medical Center at the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, before completing her hematopathology fellowship training at St. Louis University. During hematopathology training, Dr. Jain received the College of American Pathology Foundation Award.

Before joining First Urology in 2009, Dr. Jain was a practicing pathologist at the US Labs in Brentwood, Tennessee, where she was instrumental in establishing the pathology laboratory at the practice. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology and is licensed to practice in Indiana and Kentucky

Dr. Jain lives in Louisville, where she has embraced the community. She is a proud mother of one daughter and her husband is a practicing oncologist in the area.
