Stephan J. Sweitzer
Dr. Sweitzer is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his internship and general surgery training at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut and completed his urology residency at the University of Kentucky.
He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Sweitzer has a special interest in the treatment of urologic cancer, kidney stone disease and surgery for urinary incontinence.
Dr. Sweitzer has served as the president of the Kentucky Urological Society and president of the Jewish Hospital Medical Staff. He has served on the Medical Advisors Board of the Kidney Foundation of Kentucky and Planned Parenthood, Inc.
