West Chestnut St. Baptist Church
1725 West Chestnut Street
Louisville, KY 40203
Men wishing to have a free prostate exam will have a PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen)blood test as well as a physical exam given by a Board Certified Urologist. Upon entry each man will be given a form to fill out so that we can contact you with your results. If you need assistance in filling out the intake form, we will have people available to help you.
We recommend all men receive an annual prostate exam beginning at 50 years old. However, African American men as well as those with a family history of prostate cancer should have an annual exam beginning at age 40. The chance of developing prostate cancer is 1 in 9 men. The death rate for prostate cancer is very low if the cancer is caught at an early stage.
Please take advantage of this FREE clinic on Saturday, June 16th at the West Chestnut Baptist Church. If you have questions regarding this screening, please call our main office at 812-282-3899.
